Something that is much more common among MUMpreneurs than you might think.
The ONLY thing standing in your way? Is your Energy. You are exhausted!.
It’s frustrating, isn’t it? Attempting to show up and get things done when you feel as though you physically cannot go on. It makes you feel helpless. Which in turn, adds to the stress and overwhelm you are already feeling. You feel guilty for feeling this way.
You’re still young - less than 55 - and yet your body seems to be failing you just when you need it the most. Your family is also paying the price. Your mood swings, chronic pain and lack of energy are affecting your home life and personal relationships. You want to spend quality time with the people you love the most…

Yes, you might have read online that 8 hours of sleep will fix ALL of your problems...
But I know that when you wake up after 10, you still feel fatigued, so why bother. You might as well get up earlier because there is so many things that you need to tick off. So it’s only 7 am, and you feel as though you already need a cup of black coffee to get you to your senses.
Waking your kids up is the last thing you want to do… But nevertheless, you push yourself to get through the daily tantrums that getting ready for school brings, and attempt to make their lunchboxes.
But it becomes a chore, and your brain makes it increasingly difficult to remember what you put in their lunch boxes yesterday… And at the end of the day, you always receive the same complaint: “Mum, you always pack us the same food for school - It’s boring!”
Finally, when you eventually get your act together… You realize you just have enough time to get dressed and rush out the door to go to work! By 8 am, you’re ready to crash and burn on the sofa. But you’ve got a full plate of work to complete, and you’re already 30 minutes behind everyone else…
So, you sit at your desk and ‘get to work’ on your first task. But your eyes keep darting to the clock, and your brain just can’t keep up. You’re really trying to get your work done…

I understand your day-to-day struggles with fatigue because I’ve been there myself. That’s why I’m prepared to *actually* investigate the root causes of your fatigue, and work with you to overcome them.
It’s what I do for a living!
I help women solve their chronic tiredness, pain, and brain fog so they can live healthy, happy, energy-filled lives.
From 1995 - 2002, I was a conventional medical doctor. However, in 2003, things changed… My daughter was diagnosed to be on the Autism spectrum. We tried everything - doctors, speech therapists, ABA therapists, occupational therapists…
But they just couldn’t get through to her. After what was probably one of the most challenging years of my life, I eventually took my daughter to see a functional medicine doctor. The positive results were almost instantaneous.
We started examining her diet, movement, habits, and with even the smallest of changes, we saw an enormous improvement in her behavior. Of course, I was intrigued and amazed by this form of medicine. So, I began studying functional medicine myself.
Interestingly, apart from Autism, I started seeing mums of these kids. Some of them had to keep working while managing their kids. They also had to run a family – taking care of their other kids
They were exhausted!
These young to middle-aged mums were frustrated as their bodies seems to be failing them just when they needed them the most. Their families were also paying the price. Their mood swings, chronic pain, and lack of energy were affecting their home life and personal relationships. They wanted to spend quality time with the people they love the most but they just had no more energy left!
So I offered to address their fatigue - we deep-dived into what was causing their symptoms. For some, it was their sleep deprivation, for others, their nutrient deficiencies, and I coached them to overcome their mental challenges when 'things were getting a bit too tough', including working on their relationships with their spouses. We looked at how movement and exercise could fit into their already busy programs.
Many didn't realize that all their 'stressors' and poor eating habits were triggering their immune system to become revved up and attacking their organs - yes I saw many of these women with Autoimmune diseases like Hashimoto's. Once we found what was causing their fatigue, overcoming them was the easier part of the equation.
What started with mum with kids on the spectrum, then grew to mum with neurotypical kids, then to just women from all walks of life...all with the same common problem of fatigue.
Over time, my practice has continued to evolve to meet the specific needs of my patients.
Currently, I'm concentrating on helping women experiencing fatigue, body aches, and brain fog, who suspect their thyroid as the root cause of their symptoms but struggle to get confirmation from conventional doctors.
The thyroid, a small but mighty gland, plays a significant role in our overall well-being. When it's not functioning properly, it can lead to a host of issues, ranging from constant fatigue to unexplained weight changes.
Just as I have done with fatigue and chronic pain, my approach towards thyroid health is about getting to the root cause. Rather than simply treating the symptoms, my goal is to understand the underlying issues affecting the thyroid. By doing so, I can provide my patients with a comprehensive, personalized plan to manage their thyroid health, empowering them to reclaim their energy and vitality.
